This years endurance race from Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, Australia was the race from hell! I mean the track Gremlins were out in force punching on the tires, drivers, pit crews and electronics of these fine machines. How about the photo above an Audi R8 LMS behind an Aussie built Dayton Coupe found locked up in a garage in Melbourne. It was the fastest car down Conrad Straight that weekend @ 306.5 kph or 190.45 mph just a sweet machine. You’ll find this coupe at time stamp 33:19 in the highlights vid. Also watch the Bentley out muscle the McLaren in the straight, starting at time stamp 36:42 we later see, hello I’m a Bentley! All classes compete under one set of Event sporting regulations, however different technical regulations apply to differing classes. Specifically, GT classes run to European GT3 Championship Technical Regulations, production classes to Group 3E Regulations and invitational classes to the 12/24 Hour Series Technical Regulations.
If teams fear mistakes and malfunctions, their riding with you at Bathhust!
Saizzle Vidz does a great job editing the highlights of the race and after that he runs the final last hour of the race which will be next.
B12HR Final Hour
The margins run small after running all day, this years B12HR was a battle field to say the least. Bathhurst is a respected track of motor racing thanks to its character and Hell’s Corner must be where the Gremlins come out in droves!
